Walking. Calorie trackers. Step goals.

Oh boy. I have been so busy keeping up walking and learning about new things I almost forgot about the blog!

Lately, I have been doing about 12,000 steps a day and one strength work out for about 20-30 min. Most days this is what I do. On rest days I’ll do a leisure walk and a meditation or stretch.

This week I’m trying Noom Vibe, which is a walking app that lets you earn coins that you can donate or save up to snag gift cards. I have had the app for about 10 days. So far it’s interesting to see how a different motivation keeps me going. It’s more about completing the task and checking it off a list that is satisfying to me.

So for now my activity is mostly walking and strength. I’m trying to burn about 620 calories a day and eat about 1600 a day. So far I can see the changes like loose jeans and firmer arms… but have I dropped much? Not really. But that’s ok! I am quite happy with the current changes.
