No Changes

Sooo…. I had been walking about 10,000 steps a day, And doing about 10-20 min of weights a day. But no real weight loss changes. Maybe for sure 3 lbs consistently down but that’s about it. HOWEVER, the big game changers are better moods, firmer body, and way more energy. I also don’t have shortness of breath after exertion. I am going to take that as a win.

So now that I am sitting back to look at why I’m not losing weight, I think it’s not being as tightly committed to reducing my food intake. Don’t get me wrong, I certainly pay attention to it. But I know for sure I’ve had a few more treats during the summer than usual.

All in all, I’m not upset about not dropping lots of weight quickly since I do recognize the changes to my body but also I think I’m contending with a lot of other things like perimenopause, work life balance, and being happy in general. I still have until October for my official weigh in. That will be October 26th. I just arbitrarily picked that day. ☺️

The goal is to lose 10lbs total and no longer be in the high cholesterol range.
