I weighed in at 151lbs today. Some things I wanted to talk about was how I am not logging all my food. I have done food logging on and off for over 3 years. I feel like I have it cased. I absolutely recommend it if you never figured it out before. It absolutely works. However there will come a time when you are tired of telling an app exactly what you ate or don’t want to consult if you should or shouldn’t have something to eat.

Once you know roughly what things cost in calories you end up getting a good gauge of whether or not you should have more of something. Also pay attention to your body. I want to focus on that portion control without logging because ultimately I answer to no one! I wouldn’t recommend stopping calorie counting if it works for you and you are on a roll and it’s keeping you honest. I would however recommend not being a slave to it and maybe taking a break here and there to maintain your sanity.

I’m taking a break from rigorously counting. I want these habits to be ingrained in my brain and habits. So let’s see if I can do it! I am down 3 lbs. I think that’s roughly 1/2 a pound a month. Oof. I need a little more speed on this weight loss game.
